Farmers Market Week: Aug. 6-11, 2012

United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack procaimed August 5-11, 2012 as National Farmers Market Week.  Many of you shop at farmers markets on a regular basis and enjoy a wide variety of fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat and dairy products.  If you are haven't shopped at a farmers market, this week is your opportunity to try something new.  It's a chance for you to meet the farmers who produce your food and to socialize with your friends and neighbors.  Take a few minutes this week to check out your local farmers market!
