Small Steps Lead to Big Strides

How many steps would you walk to score some co-op swag? The “Led ‘Steppin” team of walkers at Cherryland Electric Cooperative in Grawn, Mich., took nearly 2 million steps in its quest to claim the grand prize. The first-ever Spring Step Challenge is a friendly competition among 20 co-ops. It’s the creation of a Michigan co-op employee whose workplace was too small to sustain a wellness program. Win or lose, co-ops said the contest scored a victory for improved camaraderie.
