Veterans Take Part in Honor Flight

Here's another example of Cooperatives putting Principle 7 into action:  Concern for Community......

It was a day of memories accompanied by deep sighs, awed expressions, some laughs and a few tears as 68 Kentucky veterans viewed war and military memorials erected in their honor. The record contingent of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans traveled to Washington, D.C., on Sept. 26 as part of this year’s Honor Flight. Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives partnered with the Honor Flight Bluegrass Chapter to make the trip possible.
