Nearly 2,000 young people spent a week in the nation’s capital celebrating service and citizenship while learning about the cooperative difference during NRECA’s 51st annual Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.  This is another wonderful example of cooperatives' concern for community.

Unique partnership between Conseil du Café-Cacoa, Cargill, CARE and farmer cooperatives is delivering improved education and healthcare in 14 communities.

11 new schools will teach over 1,650 children and 3 new centers will improve access to healthcare for 25,000 people.

Program to extend to build facilities in an additional 10 cocoa communities.

Farmers markets are gearing up again this summer, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food program, or KYF2, can help consumers and producers learn more about them.The program — designed to promote locally produced food — has information and advice involving farmers markets from several USDA agencies.
