Lacey Reichwald

Lacey Reichwald is a small-town, small business owner with big ideas and a huge appetite for great experiences. She is a marketing mentor, travel enthusiast, and barista in addition
to her roles within Whitewater Grocery Co. and as owner of two businesses in Whitewater: The SweetSpot Café and The SweetSpot Bakehouse

Lacey moved to Whitewater as a college student and fell in love with the midwest charm of the small college town. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in interpersonal communication, Lacey took over ownership of The SweetSpot and later opened a second location, The SweetSpot Bakehouse.

Lacey is dedicated to shaping the food culture and food access of Whitewater and when their only local grocery store closed, she quickly became involved in finding a solution. She
spearheaded the efforts to form a cooperative through community engagement and positive leadership.

When she’s not working, Lacey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, eatingtacos, enjoying a craft cocktail, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. She also loves
visiting and photographing grocery stores around the country.
