The most important asset of any co-op is its members. But how does a start-up food co-op go from a core group of five people to more than 900 members in three years? This case study discussed how the Fredericksburg Food Co-op – drives growth -- from outreach to specific populations to work with local media, from one-to-one conversations to social media, from events to newsletters, from email lists to incentive programs, from printed materials to websites. Some of this co-op’s best ideas have come from other co-ops. Hear how they have fun putting it all together and celebrating growth and P6 any ideas that you’d like to try at your own co-op. Enjoy the exhilaration of seeing your member numbers grow!!
