JaRay Reese

JaRay Reese is a Kalamazoo native, born and raised on the North side of Kalamazoo. He is passionate about food justice because he knows that food is directly linked to the health of the people and understands the bias in which the system is setup to marginalize urban communities from access to healthy foods. He has been part of the PFC team for nearly five years, currently as PFC's Deli Manager, and his long-term plan is to have a food truck called the Underground Rail Road, “food for liberation”, with the intent to focus on African diaspora foods that takes you to your roots.
