Jason Codner

Jason Codner is co-founder and current President of Silverton Food Co-op in Silverton, Oregon, a rural small town of 10,000 people in the Willamette Valley. SFC has over 600 owners and is in Stage 2b of their development into a community-owned grocery store. Always looking for ways to engage and inform the community, Jason has spearheaded many events over the last 4 years from owner drives, social media campaigns, an annual farm to table dinner, potlucks and more. He has worked diligently to ensure SFC is on the right track and building a strong foundation for a success. Silverton is fortunate to be surrounded by some of the richest farmland in the country and amazing small-scale family farms growing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and sustainably raising cows, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens. Silverton Food Co-op will be the store to access those products and act as a reliable and consistent market to encourage our farmers to grow and thrive.
